ABSTRAK Taman Nasional Way Kambas merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang terletak di Provinsi Lampung yang mengalami peningkatan jumlah pengunjung setelah dibuka kembali pasca pandemi. Peningkatan aktivitas wisata ini menuntut perhatian terhadap kondisi jalan sebagai akses utama menuju lokasi wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi fungsional jalan menuju Taman Nasional Way Kambas dan mengidentifikasi pengaruhnya terhadap risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Surface Distress Index (SDI) untuk menilai kondisi permukaan jalan, serta analisis korelasi Pearson untuk mengukur hubungan antara tingkat kerusakan jalan dengan data kecelakaan lalu lintas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan yang dominan berupa retak blok, retak kulit buaya, dan tambalan, dengan nilai SDI yang bervariasi di setiap segmen. Nilai SDI total pada ruas jalan yang ditinjau berada pada angka 45 yang mana angka tersebut masuk dalam kategori kondisi jalan baik. Nilai korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan pengaruh yang rendah antara kondisi kerusakan jalan dengan kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi perlunya pemeliharaan rutin terhadap kondisi jalan dan perhatian khusus bagi faktor penyebab kecelakaan lainnya guna mendukung keselamatan serta kenyamanan perjalanan wisatawan. Kata Kunci: Kondisi Jalan, Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas, Surface Distress Index (SDI) ABSTRAK Way Kambas National Park is one of the tourist destinations located in Lampung Province that has experienced an increase in the number of visitors after its reopening post-pandemic. This surge in tourism activity demands close attention to road conditions, as the primary access route to the tourist location. This study aims to analyze the functional condition of the road leading to Way Kambas National Park and to identify its impact on traffic accident risk. The methods used in this research include the Surface Distress Index (SDI) to assess the condition of the road surface and Pearson correlation analysis to evaluate the relationship between the level of road damage and traffic accident data. The analysis results show that the predominant types of damage are block cracking, alligator cracking, and patching, with SDI values varying across segments. The total SDI value for the observed road segment is 45, which falls within the good condition category. The Pearson correlation results indicate a low influence relationship between road damage and traffic accidents. This study recommends the need for regular maintenance of road conditions and special attention to other contributing factors to accidents in order to support the safety and comfort of tourist travel.
