Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Missouri Mathemathics Project terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandarlampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas yaitu VIII.1 sampai VIII.9 secara. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih siswa kelas VIII.4 sebanyak 30 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII.8 sebanyak 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa persentasi siswa pada kelas MMP dengan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa terkategori lebih baik dari 60% dari jumlah siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran MMP efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Missouri Mathemathics Project model on students' mathematical reflective thinking ability. The population in this study were all VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Bandarlampung even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year which were distributed in nine classes, namely VIII.1 to VIII.9 heterogeneously. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and VIII.4 class of 30 students was selected as the experimental class and VIII.8 class of 32 students as the control class. The research design used was pretest-posttest control group design. This research data is in the form of quantitative data obtained from the test of students' mathematical reflective thinking ability. The test data were analyzed inferentially. The results showed that the percentage of students in the MMP class with students' mathematical reflective thinking ability categorized better than 60% of the number of students. Thus, it can be concluded that the MMP learning method is effective in improving students' mathematical reflective thinking ability.
