Abstract
Rubber plantation is one of the plantation products that has a positive influence on economic and social growth. One of the rubber factories in Lampung Province is PTPN 1 Regional 7 Way Berulu plantation. The existence of PTPN 1 Regional 7 Way Berulu plantation has social, economic and environmental impacts that are considered detrimental to humans and the environment, namely reducing the comfort of the surrounding community. Based on this description, researchers are interested in reviewing further the impact of the existence of the PT. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview and explanation of the impact of the socio-economic and environmental conditions of the existence of PTPN 1 Regional 7 Way Berulu plantation on the surrounding community based on perceptions, exploration of thoughts and development of concepts in Kebagusan Village, Gedong Tataan District, Pesawaran Regency. Data collection for this study was carried out through the stages of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study are that the existence of PTPN 1 Regional 7 Way Berulu plantation has a greater positive impact on economic and social conditions, for example the provision of social facilities around the company such as improving integrated health posts, skills training and changing the livelihoods of local residents with better incomes and for environmental conditions it is quite poor because many people still feel the impact of poor water quality and smoke pollution from factories that can affect the health of the community. Keywords : Impact, Rubber Plantations, Social, Economic, Environment. Perkebunan karet salah satu produk perkebunan yang memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan sosial. Salah satu pabrik karet di Provinsi Lampung adalah PTPN 1 Regional 7 kebun Way Berulu. Keberadaan PTPN 1 Regional 7 kebun Way Berulu memiliki dampak sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan yang dirasa memberikan kerugian bagi manusia, maupun lingkungan yaitu mengurangi kenyamanan masyarakat sekitar. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut peneliti tertarik mengulas lebih lanjut mengenai dampak Keberadaan PT tersebut. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian untuk memberikan gambaran dan penjelasan mengenai dampak kondisi sosial ekonomi dan lingkungan keberadaan PTPN 1 Regional 7 kebun Way Berulu terhadap masyarakat sekitar didasarkan pada persepsi, eksplorasi pemikiran dan pengembangan konsep di Desa Kebagusan Kecamatan Gedong Tataan Kabupaten Pesawaran. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan tahapan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu keberadaan PTPN 1 Regional 7 kebun Way Berulu memiliki dampak positif yang lebih besar terhadap kondisi ekonomi dan sosial contohnya penyediaan fasilitas sosial sekitar perusahaan seperti perbaikan posyandu, pelatihan keterampilan dan perubahan mata pencaharian warga sekitar dengan penghasilan yang lebih baik dan untuk kondisi lingkungan cukup kurang baik dikarenakan masih banyak masyarakat yang merasakan dampak dari kualitas air yang kurang bagus dan polusi asap dari pabrik yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat tersebut.
