Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar rendah pada siswasiswi kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingerejo. Motivasi belajar merupakan sesuatu keadaan yang terdapat pada diri seorang individu dimana ada suatu dorongan untuk melakukan sesuatu guna mencapai tujuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui adanya Hubungan Pola Komunikasi Keluarga terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pada Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tenik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 233 siswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 120 subjek. Hasil analisis product moment menggunakan spss 25.0 for windows menunjukan hasil nilai rhitung sebesar 0,222. Dapat dikatakan bahwa hasil dari nilai rhitung 0,222 > 0,199 yang artinya variabel komunikasi keluarga tipe Pluralistik dengan variabel motivasi belajar memiliki hubungan. Dan untuk komunikasi keluarga tipe konsensual diketahui bahwa hasil dari nilai rhitung sebesar 0,283. Dapat dikatakan bahwa hasil dari nilai rhitung 0,283 > 0,199 yang artinya variabel komunikasi keluarga tipe konsensual dengan variabel motivasi belajar memiliki hubungan. Kata kunci: Komunikasi keluarga, motivasi belajar The problem in this study is low learning motivation in eighth grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingerejo Middle School. Learning motivation is a condition that exists in an individual where there is a drive to do something to achieve a goal. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between family communication patterns and learning motivation in eighth grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo Middle School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The population in the study was 233 students with a sample of 120 subjects. The results of the product moment analysis using SPSS 25.0 for Windows showed the results of the calculated r value of 0.222. It can be said that the results of the calculated r value of 0.222> 0.199 which means that the variable of pluralistic type family communication with the variable of learning motivation has a relationship. And to be known, the consensual type family communication that the results of the calculated r value of 0.283. It can be said that the results of the calculated r value are 0.283 > 0.199, which means that the consensual type of family communication variable has a relationship with the learning motivation variable.
