Abstract

ABSTRAK SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas yang terus berupaya meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Salah satu aspek pendukungnya adalah sistem presensi siswa. Namun, pencatatan presensi masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga kurang efisien, rentan kesalahan, dan rawan kecurangan. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi presensi siswa berbasis website dengan teknologi QR Code untuk mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pencatatan kehadiran. Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan metode Waterfall yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Teknologi yang digunakan meliputi PHP, Laravel, MySQL, dan JavaScript. Hasilnya adalah sistem presensi berbasis web yang telah melalui pengujian fungsionalitas, keamanan, kinerja, dan User Acceptance Testing. Kesimpulannya, sistem yang dikembangkan berjalan baik, mudah digunakan, serta dapat menghasilkan laporan kehadiran secara otomatis, akurat, dan efisien. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Presensi Siswa, Website, QR Code, Waterfall. ABSTRACT SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung is one of the senior high schools that continuously strives to improve the quality of its educational services. One of the supporting aspects is the student attendance system. However, attendance recording is still done manually, making it inefficient, prone to errors, and vulnerable to fraud. This Final Project aims to design and develop a web-based student attendance information system using QR Code technology to simplify and accelerate the attendance recording process. The project adopts the Waterfall method, which includes analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The technologies used include PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and JavaScript. The result is a web-based attendance system that has been tested for functionality, security, performance, and user acceptance. In conclusion, the developed system runs well, is user-friendly, and can generate attendance reports automatically, accurately, and efficiently.
