Abstrak

ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN PROFESIONALISME GURU DI SD NEGERI SUKATANI KECAMATAN KALIANDA KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN Oleh: ELIZA KUSUMAWATI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan profesionalisme guru yang terdiri dari pengembangan kompetensi paedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional guru, pelaksanaan manajemen tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah serta upaya pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Data diperoleh dari informan penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, dewan guru, pengawas sekolah, siswa, orangtua siswa, penjaga sekolah dan staf tata usaha (TU). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru ditunjukkan dengan: memahami karakteristik peserta didik, mengidentifikasi kemampuan awal peserta didik, merancang pembelajaran yang mendidik, dan membantu siswa mengaktualisasikan potensi dan kreativitasnya, melakukan evaluasi dan penilaian hasil belajar, kompetensi kepribadian: menghargai pendapat siswa, tidak diskriminatif, dan mampu menyelesaikan konflik dengan sikap bijaksana, kompetensi sosial: bersikap simpatik, santun dan bersahabat dengan teman sejawat, siswa, orangtua dan masyarakat, mengedepankan rasa kekeluargaan, kompetensi profesional: rencana pembelajaran sesuai dengan silabus, mengkaji berbagai sumber belajar, menetapkan sumber dan media yang sesuai dengan materi pelajaran, mengikuti diklat/pelatihan, manajemen tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan upaya kepala sekolah memberdayakan secara optimal seluruh sumber yang ada di sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah, pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan: pengembangan diri melalui kegiatan diklat/pelatihan dan kegiatan kolektif guru. Disarankan kepada Pemerintah berperan aktif dalam upaya meningkatkan kompetensi guru secara berkelanjutan demi mendorong terciptanya guru profesional. Kata kunci: kompetensi guru, pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan, guru profesional ABSTRACT TEACHER PROFESIONALISM DEVELOPMENT IN PUBLIC PRIMARY SHOOL (SDN) SUKATANI, KALIANDA SUBDISTRIC, SOUTH LAMPUNG DISTRICT By ELIZA KUSUMAWATI This study aimed to analyze and describe teacher professionalism development comprising the following competences: pedagogic, personal, social, and professional. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with a case study design. Data were obtained from the informants: the principal, teacher council, school superintendent, student, parents, school guards and administrative staff. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Result of this study are showed that the development of teachers' Pedagogical competence demonstrated by: understanding the characteristics of students, identifying early ability students, designing learning educate, and help students actualize the potential and creativity, the evaluation and assessment of learning outcomes, Personal competence: value the opinions of students, non-discriminatory, and to resolve conflicts with prudence, Social competence: sympathetic, polite and friendly with colleagues, students, parents and the community, promoting a sense of kinship, Professional competence: lesson plans in accordance with the syllabus, study various learning resources, establish the source and the media in accordance with the subject matter, follow the training / training, in term of resource management, the principals optimally attempted to empower all sources that exist in the school to achieve the school goals, professional development: self-development through training activities / training and collective activities of teachers. The government is advised to take an active role to hold relevant trainings related to teacher profesionalism to improve the competences of teachers for their profesional development.
