Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh intensitas akses media sosial terhadap civic virtue mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) Universitas Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling dan alokasi proporsional, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 76 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (kuesioner) dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara intensitas akses media sosial terhadap civic virtue mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Lampung, sebesar 79,4% dan 20,6% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa intensitas akses media sosial yang tidak diterapkan dengan bijak dapat menurunkan penerapan civic virtue mahasiswa. Hal ini terlihat dari kurangnya pemahaman tentang bahaya media sosial, akses media sosial yang berlebih, serta kebiasaan untuk selalu mengecek media sosial, menyebabkan munculnya perilaku-perilaku buruk, seperti kurang bertanggung jawab, munculnya sikap individualisme, dan sulit berinteraksi dengan masyarakat sebagai warga negara yang baik. Dengan demikian, intensitas akses media sosial terbukti menjadi salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi civic virtue mahasiswa. Kata Kunci: Intensitas Akses Media Sosial, Civic Virtue, Mahasiswa PPKn This study aimed to determine and explain the influence of the intensity of social media access on the civic virtue of students in the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program at the University of Lampung. This research was descriptive in nature, employing a quantitative approach. The sampling technique utilized was probability sampling with the simple random sampling method and proportional allocation, resulting in a sample of 76 students. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and interviews. The results indicated that there was a significant influence of social media access intensity on the civic virtue of PPKn students at the University of Lampung, accounting for 79.4%, while the remaining 20.6% was influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. The findings revealed that the intensity of social media access, if not managed wisely, could diminish the implementation of students' civic virtue. This was evident from a lack of understanding regarding the dangers of social media, excessive usage, and the habit of constantly checking social media. These factors led to the emergence of negative behaviors, such as irresponsibility, a rise in individualism, and difficulty interacting with society as good citizens. Therefore, the intensity of social media access was proven to be a crucial factor influencing students' civic virtue. Keywords: Social Media Access Intensity, Civic Virtue, PPKn Students.
