Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh Model Etno-Pedagogi Berbasis Proyek untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan karakter bergotong royong, serta untuk menentukan efektifitasnya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan karakter gotong royong. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), mengacu pada model pengembangan yang terdiri dari aktivitas yang dimulai dari mendesain produk hingga implementasi. Produk pengembangan ini berupa model etno-pedagogi berbasis proyek (epsispro) yang memiliki karakteristik tertentu. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan model epsispro, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan tiga tahapan, yakni: (1) studi pendahuluan; (2) perancangan/desain model; dan (3) pengujian model. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Model epsispro dikembangkan dengan melakukan integrasi teori etnomatematika pada model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Model epsispro memiliki enam tahapan pembelajaran, yaitu eksplorasi budaya & komunitas; pemodelan matematis; perencanaan proyek kolaboratif; pelaksanaan proyek; presentasi & evaluasi; refleksi & internalisasi nilai. Model epsispro memiliki lima karakteristik utama yaitu kolaborasi, imajinasi, aksi, abstraksi, dan kontruksi, dimana karakteristik-karakteristik tersebut menjadi ciri utama dalam fase pada model epsispro. (2) Hasil uji lapangan menunjukan bahwa model epsispro lebih efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan karakter bergotong royong daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci: etnomatematika, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, karakter gotong royong ABSTRACT PROJECT-BASED ETHNO-PEDAGOGY MODEL (EPSISPRO) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS AND MUTUAL COOPERATION CHARACTER By KARSONI BERTA DINATA This research aims to obtain a Project-Based Ethno-Pedagogy Model to develop creative thinking skills and character of mutual cooperation, as well as to determine its effectiveness in developing creative thinking skills and mutual cooperation character. This research uses research and development (R&D) design, referring to a development model consisting of activities starting from product design to implementation. This development product is in the form of a project-based ethno-pedagogy model (epsispro) that has certain characteristics. To meet the needs of the development of a project-based learning model with the epsispro model, this study uses development research with three stages, namely: (1) preliminary study; (2) model design; and (3) model testing. The results of the study concluded that: (1) The epsispro model was developed by integrating ethnomathematical theory into a project-based learning model. The epsispro model has six stages of learning, namely cultural and community exploration; mathematical modeling; collaborative project planning; project implementation; presentation & evaluation; reflection & internalization of values. The epsispro model has five main characteristics, namely collaboration, imagination, action, abstraction, and construction, where these characteristics are the main characteristics in the phases of the epsispro model. (2) The results of field tests show that the epsispro model is more effective in developing creative thinking skills and cooperative character than conventional learning.
