Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya literasi sains peserta didik pada materi cahaya di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e- modul berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa kelas V di SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket, dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul dinyatakan layak oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran. E-modul juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan literasi sains dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,38 (kategori sedang). Dengan demikian, e-modul berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. Kata kunci: e-modul, Problem Based Learning, literasi sains, materi cahaya. This research was motivated by the low scientific literacy of students in light subjects in elementary schools. The objective of this study was to develop a feasible, practical, and effective Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based e-module to improve the scientific literacy of fifth-grade students at SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Twenty-seven students participated in the study. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and tests (pretest and posttest). Data analysis used validity, reliability, and N-gain tests. The results showed that the e-module was deemed feasible by material and media experts and practical for use in learning. The e-module was also proven effective in improving scientific literacy, with an N-gain value of 0.38 (moderate category). Thus, the developed PBL-based e-module is feasible, practical, and effective as a learning resource to improve students' scientific literacy.
