Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis pemberian ekstrak mimba pada air minum yang tepat terhadap total protein plasma dan glukosa darah ayam kampung jantan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada November sampai dengan Desember 2025 di Kandang Laboratorium Lapang Terpadu, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Analisis sampel darah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pramitra Biolab Indonesia, Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Eksperimental dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan antara lain P0: Air minum tanpa ekstrak mimba (kontrol); P1: 2,5 mg ekstrak mimba/kg berat badan (BB)/hari; P2: 5 mg ekstrak mimba/kg BB/hari; P3: 10 mg ekstrak mimba /kg berat badan (BB)/hari; P4: 20 mg ekstrak mimba /kg berat badan (BB)/hari. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Peubah yang di ukur adalah total protein plasma dan glukosa darah. Hasil rata-rata total protein plasma P0 : 4,10±0,26 g/dl; P1 : 4,17±0,47 g/dl; P2 : 4,13±0,85 g/dl; P3 : 3,83±0,12 g/dl; P4 : 4,23±0,46 g/dl dan rata-rata glukosa darah P0 : 221,67±3,51 mg/dl; P1 : 229,67±11,85 mg/dl; P2 : 220,00±8,89 mg/dl; P3 : 230,00±9,64 mg/dl; P4 : 239,33±11,93 mg/dl. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penambahan ekstrak mimba (Azadirachta indica) dalam air minum pada ayam kampung jantan dengan dosis perlakuan P1 (2,5 mg/kg BB/hari), P2 (5 mg/kg BB/hari), P3 (10 mg/kg BB/hari), P4 (20 mg/kg BB/hari) dapat mempertahankan total protein plasma pada standar normal dan dosis perlakuan P3 (10 mg/kg BB/hari) dan P4 (20 mg/kg BB/hari) dapat mempertahankan kadar glukosa darah pada standar normal. Kata kunci : Ayam kampung jantan, Ekstrak mimba, Glukosa darah, Total protein plasma. This study aimed to determine the appropriate dosage of mimba extract in drinking water for male native chickens in terms of its effects on plasma total protein and blood glucose levels. The study was conducted from November to December 2025 at the Integrated Field Laboratory Poultry House, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. Blood sample analysis was carried out at the Pramitra Biolab Indonesia Laboratory, Bandar Lampung. This study employed an experimental design with 5 treatments and 3 replicates. The treatments used were as follows: P0: Drinking water without mimba extract (control); P1: 2.5 mg mimba extract/kg body weight (BW)/day; P2: 5 mg mimba extract/kg BW/day; P3: 10 mg mimba extract/kg body weight (BW)/day; P4: 20 mg mimba extract/kg body weight (BW)/day. The data obtained were analysed descriptively. The variables measured were total plasma protein and blood glucose. The mean results for total plasma protein P0 : 4,10±0,26 g/dl; P1 : 4,17±0,47 g/dl; P2 : 4,13±0,85 g/dl; P3 : 3,83±0,12 g/dl; P4 : 4,23±0,46 g/dl and average blood glucose P0 : 221,67±3,51 mg/dl; P1 : 229,67±11,85 mg/dl; P2 : 220,00±8,89 mg/dl; P3 : 230,00±9,64 mg/dl; P4 : 239,33±11,93 mg/dl. The conclusion of the study is that the addition of neem extract (Azadirachta indica) to the drinking water of male native chickens at treatment doses P1 (2.5 mg/kg body weight/day), P2 (5 mg/kg body weight/day), P3 (10 mg/kg body weight/day), and P4 (20 mg/kg body weight/day) can maintain total plasma protein within normal limits, and treatment doses P3 (10 mg/kg body weight/day) and P4 (20 mg/kg body weight/day) can maintain blood glucose levels within normal limits.
