Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 45 hari dimulai pada Desember 2014{--}Januari 2015 bertempat di kandang peternakan Koperasi Gunung Madu Plantation, Kecamatan Gunung Batin, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Analisis Ransum dilakukan di Laboraturium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari tanpa perlakuan (P0), frekuensi penyiraman air 1 kali (P1), dan frekuensi penyiraman air 2 kali (P2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan frekuensi penyiraman air berpengaruh nyata (P{\ensuremath{<}}0,01) terhadap suhu tubuh dan frekuensi pernafasan serta berpengaruh nyata (P{\ensuremath{<}}0,05) terhadap frekuensi denyut jantung Sapi Peranakan Simmental, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi ransum dan pertambahan bobot badan harian Sapi Peranakan Simmental. Kata kunci : Sprinkler, Respon Fisiologis, Produksi Abstract Bahasa Inggris The objective was to measure effects of watering frequency using sprinkler on physiological response and production of Simmental grade cattle. The experiment was conducted for 45 days starting on December 2014 to January 2015 in Gunung Madu Plantation Cooperative farm, Gunung Batin sub districk Central Lampung regency. Ration analysis was in Laboratory Animal Nutrition and Feed, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The experimental method used was completely randomized design (CRD) with consisting of no treatment (P0), the frequency of watering 1 time (P1), and the frequency of watering 2 times (P2). The results showed that the frequency of watering treatment significantly (P {\ensuremath{<}}0.01)of body temperature and respiratory rate and significant (P {\ensuremath{<}}0.05) of heart rate Simmental cattle grade, but non significant effect (P{\ensuremath{>}} 0.05) on feed consumption and average daily gain Simmental Cattle Grade.
