description: ABSTRAK    Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa  kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Perumnas Way Halim Kota Bandarlampung Tahun pelajaran  2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode eksperimen  terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 160 siswa,  sedangkan sampel sebanyak 80 yang terdiri dari 40 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen  dan 40 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan  teknik purposive random sampling. Variabel bebas adalah penggunaan metode  eksperimen (X) sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah prestasi belajar IPA (Y).  Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode Tes.  Analisis data di gunakan uji korelasi product moment dan uji t. Hasil analisis data  menunjukan bahwa Ada pengaruh penggunaan metode eksperimen terhadap prestasi  belajar IPA dan Ada perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok  kontrol terhadap prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Perumnas Way  Halim Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.  Kata Kunci :Metode Eksperimen, Prestasi Belajar IPA.        ABSTRACT    The problems in this study is still low natural science learning achievement at the  fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Housing Way Halim Bandarlampung school  year 2014/2015. This study aims to determine the effect of the experimental method  to the study of natural science achievement. The population in this study amounted to  160 students, while as many as 80 samples consisting of 40 students in the  experimental group and 40 students in the control group. Determination of the sample  used purposive random sampling technique. The independent variable is the use of  the experimental method (X) while the dependent variable is the natural science  learning achievement (Y). Collecting data in this study is to use the test method. The  data analysis used product moment correlation test and t Test. Results of the data  analysis showed that the effect of the use of the method There experiments on natural  science learning achievement at the fourth grade students and the differences between  the experimental group and control group to study natural science achievement at the  fourth grade students at SDN 1 Housing Way Halim Bandarlampung school year  2014/2015.
