Perhitungan dilakukan berdasarkan line profile citra permukaan kulit tangan yang diolah menggunakan software Matlab 7.8. Perhitungan analisis statistik berupa Mean Absolute Value (MAV) Variance (VAR) dan Standard Deviation (STD) yang dibandingkan dengan nilai dimensi fraktal berupa metode Higuchi, Katz dan Box Counting. Nilai statistik yang kecil, akan diperoleh nilai dimensi fraktal yang kecil dan menunjukkan kualitas kulit yang baik. Klasifikasi kulit dibagi atas 3 katagori yaitu kasar, sedang dan halus. Berdasarkan 10 Sampel uji, 9 diantaranya kualitas sedang dan 1 sampel kualitas halus. Kata kunci: Line Profile, Higuchi, Katz dan Box Counting ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS It has been realized system comparison calculations surface roughness of skin hand with statistical analysis method and fractal dimension. The calculation is performed based on the line profile of image hand skin surface was processed using sofware Matlab 7.8. Calculation of statistical analysis such as Mean Absolute Value (MAV), Variance (VAR) and Standard Deviation (STD) that was compared with the value of fractal dimension are method of Higuchi, Katz and Box Counting. The statistical value of a small, fractal dimension value will be small and shows good skin quality. Skin classification is divided into 3 categories namely rough, medium and smooth.
