"ABSTRACT\r\nThis study aims to describe (1) Planning the learning of biology that uses a mind\r\nmap recording techniques and media. (2) The process of learning biology using\r\nmind map recording techniques and media. (3) learning evaluation system in\r\nteaching biology students who use mind map recording techniques and media. (4)\r\nImproving learning achievements of students in the learning of biology that uses a\r\nmind map recording techniques and media.\r\nThe method used in this study was classroom action research conducted within 3\r\n(three) cycles. In the 1st cycle of recording technique was used mind map. In the\r\nsecond cycle-2 is used recording techniques and media mind map drawings, and\r\nthe 3rd cycle used mind map recording techniques and media images coupled with\r\nthe media realia.\r\nThe results of this study indicate that: 1) Planning learning developed by\r\nresearchers to increase the assessment on each cycle, the increase is derived from\r\nthe assessment APKG 1 in cycle-1 to reach 2.97 (enough), the cycle to reach 3.76-\r\n2 (good) and the 3rd cycle reaches 4.40 (very good). 2) The number of active\r\nlearners who experienced an increase in the cycle 1 to cycle-to-3, in class X1\r\nreached 51.32% (cycle 1), 71.05% (cycle 2) and 89.47 (cycle 3 .) In class X2\r\nreached 43.59% (cycle 1), 57.69% (siklus2), and 75.64% (cycle 3). 3) The\r\nvalidity, reliability, power differences and difficulties about the evaluation system\r\nhas increased in each cycle, the cycle of the consecutive-1 is 0.59 (enough), 0.57\r\n(enough), 0.33 (good) , and 0.43 (medium). Cycle-2: 0.64 (high), 0.63 (high), 0.44\r\n(very good), and 0.53 (medium). Cycle-3: 0.76 (very high), 0.79 (very high), 0.53\r\n(very good) and 0.62 (medium). 4) Percentage of students who completed the\r\nstudy experienced an increase in each cycle, class X1 completeness percentage\r\nreaches 52.60% (cycle 1), 81.50% (cycle 2), and 100% (cycle 3), reaching\r\n51.30%, class X2 (cycle 1) 84.60% (cycle 2) and 92.30% (cycle 3).\r\nKeywords: academic achievement, mind map, learning media.\r\n\r\nABSTRAK\r\nPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran\r\nbiologi yang menggunakan teknik pencatatan mind map dan media. ( 2) Proses\r\npembelajaran biologi yang menggunakan teknik pencatatan mind map dan media.\r\n(3) Sistem evaluasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran biologi yang\r\nmenggunakan teknik pencatatan mind map dan media. (4) Peningkatan prestasi\r\nbelajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran biologi yang menggunakan teknik\r\npencatatan mind map dan media.\r\nMetode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas\r\nyang dilaksanakan dalam 3 (tiga) siklus. Pada siklus ke-1 digunakan teknik\r\npencatatan mind map. Pada siklus ke-2 digunakan teknik pencatatan mind map\r\ndan media gambar, dan pada siklus ke-3 digunakan teknik pencatatan mind map\r\ndan media gambar ditambah dengan media realia.\r\nHasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran yang\r\ndisusun oleh peneliti mengalami peningkatan penilaian pada setiap siklusnya,\r\npeningkatan tersebut diperoleh dari penilaian APKG 1 pada siklus ke-1 mencapai\r\n2,97 (cukup), pada siklus ke-2 mencapai 3,76 (baik) dan pada siklus ke-3\r\nmencapai 4,40 (sangat baik). 2) Jumlah peserta didik yang aktif mengalami\r\npeningkatan pada dari siklus ke-1 hingga siklus ke-3, pada kelas X1 mencapai\r\n51,32% (siklus 1), 71 ,05% (siklus 2), dan 89,47 (siklus 3). Pada kelas X2\r\nmencapai 43,59% (siklus 1), 57,69% (siklus2), dan 75,64% (siklus 3). 3) Tingkat\r\nvaliditas, reliabilitas, daya beda dan kesukaran soal pada sistem evaluasi\r\nmengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya, pada siklus ke-1 berturut-turut\r\nadalah 0,59 (cukup), 0,57 (cukup), 0,33 (baik), dan 0,43 (sedang). Siklus ke-2 :\r\n0,64 (tinggi), 0,63 (tinggi), 0,44 (sangat baik), dan 0,53 (sedang).
