(3) The differences of economics students’ learning achievement taught through jigsaw and STAD cooperative learning; for the students with high pre-motivation. (4) The differences of economics learning achievement taught through cooperative learning; jigsaw and Student Teams Achevement Devision for the students with low pre-motivation. This research employed experiment. The population was all XII graders of Senior high school Negeri 5 Metro, which are divided into 4 classes. Sampling method of this research was cluster random sampling and it was obtained 78 students as the samples which were taken from two different classes. Data collecting technique that was administered in this research was pretest – posttest design. Then, the data was analyzed by using t-test each other. The hypothesis testing showed that:1) There was interaction between the both strategies; cooperative learning jigsaw type and STAD, 0.012<0.05,2) There was a difference of students’ economic learning achievement with mean difference 4.513, 3). Pre motivation was high with sig value. 2 tailed 0,000 < 0.025 first and second post test sig value 2 tailed 0.002 < 0.025, 4) Pre -motivation was low with sig value 2tailed 0.000 < 0.025. in the firstn and second post test sig value 0.459 > 0.025.
