abstract: Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 28 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian dipilih dua kelas dari delapan kelas dengan teknik purpossive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Think Pair Share berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di SMP Negeri 28 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.
