"Abstrak\r\n\r\nPeningkatan kinerja merupakan suatu usaha yang dilakukan oleh organisasi dalam\r\nusaha mencapai tujuannya. Keberhasilan usaha tersebut dipengaruhi oleh\r\nbeberapa faktor, salah satu faktor penting adalah sumber daya manusia (SDM)\r\nperanan sumber daya manusia sangat menentukan berhasil tidaknya organisasi\r\ndalam mencapai tujuannya. Masalah yang sangat mempengaruhi kinerja sumber\r\ndaya manusia yaitu kompensasi baik itu finansial maupun non finansial.\r\nPenelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi terhadap\r\nkinerja dosen di Informatics and Business Institute Darmajaya. Hipotesis yang\r\ndiajukan pada penelitian ini adalah kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja\r\ndosen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dalam lingkungan Informatics and Business\r\nInstitute Darmajaya. Jumlah sampel adalah 79 responden. Teknik pengumpulan\r\ndata menggunakan wawancara langsung dengan panduan daftar kuesioner. Teknik\r\nanalisis yang digunakan yaitu uji asusmsi klasik, sedangkan pengujian hipotesis\r\nmenggunakan analisis regresi berganda binari.\r\nBerdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda binari, dapat disimpulkan bahwa\r\nvariabel kompensasi finansial dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,001 dengan taraf\r\nsignifikasi sebesar 0,277, pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% secara statistik\r\nberpengaruh terhadap kinerja dosen Informatics and Business Institute Darmajaya.\r\nVariabel kompensasi non finansial dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,809 dengan\r\ntaraf signifikasi sebesar 0,035, pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% secara statistik\r\ntidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dosen Informatics and Business Institute\r\nDarmajaya.\r\nBerdasarkan kesimpulan, disarankan untuk meningkatkan kompensasi khususnya\r\nfinansial untuk dosen Informatics and Business Institute Darmajaya diperlukan\r\ndalam pelaksanaan pemberian kompensasi yang diterima dosen disesuaikan\r\ndengan beban tugas dan tanggung jawabnya serta perlu untuk memperhatikan\r\nperbedaan karakteristik dosen dan pekerjaan, membuat kebijakan atau mengambil\r\nAnggalia Wibasuri\r\nlangkah, serta adanya proses komunikasi yang baik yang dapat memberikan dosen\r\nsecara tepat sehingga dosen dapat memberikan kinerja terbaik, seperti pemberian\r\nkompensasi terhadap dosen berprestasi dan memberikan kesempatan yang besar\r\nkepada dosen untuk mengaktualisasikan diri agar kinerja dapat lebih baik lagi\r\nsehingga dapat dikatehui penyebab turunnya kemampuan bekerja dosen yang\r\nbersangkutan.\r\n\r\nAbstract\r\n\r\nQuality improvement is a way to achieve a purpose in any organizations or\r\ninstitutions. Its success is determined by many factors, one of these important\r\nfactors is human resource. Human resource is essential in gaining this aim. Thus\r\nmotivation, compensation and skill are very determining in the quality\r\nimprovement.\r\nThe research is conducted to know the effect of motivation, compesation and skill\r\nof the civil servants toward the quality improvement in the Department of\r\nFarming, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries in North Lampung. The hypotesis is\r\nthat motivation, compensation and skill influence the quality improvement of the\r\ncivil servants and that these factors are interrelated to each others.\r\nThe research was conducted in the department of Farming, Animal Husbandry\r\nand Fisheries in North Lampung. The samples are 64 respondents. The data\r\ncollecting technique uses direct interview with questioner forms. Analysis\r\ntechnique applies descriptive quantitative method, and the hypotesis test applies\r\ndouble binary regression analysis.\r\nBased on double binary regression analysis, it is concluded that the variable of\r\nmotivation at 0,000 co-efficient regression, at 0,953 significant rate, and at 95%\r\ntrustfulness rate, atatistically does not influence the quality of the civil servants in\r\nthese three Departments. The variable of compensation at 0,009 co-efficient\r\nregression, at 0,036 significant rate, and at 95% trustfulness rate, statistically\r\ninfluence the quality of the civil servants. The variable of skill at 0,006 coefficient rate, at 0,141 significant rate, and at 95% trustfulness rate, statistically\r\ndoes not influence the quality of the civil servants.\r\nThe result shows that the variable of motivation, compensation and sklikk\r\ncorrelate positively each others in improving the quality of the civil servants. It is\r\nproved by the occurance of the positive result in co-efficient regression. The\r\nAnggalia Wibasuri\r\n percentage effect of those three variable is 20,55% toward the quality of the civil\r\nservants and 79,45% is from other factor.\r\nFrom the conclusion, it is suggested that to improve the quality of the civil\r\nservants, the Department of Farming, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries take\r\nnecessary action or make policy which will motivate the employees to do their\r\nduty well. This can be done by giving more appreciation to the outstanding\r\nemployees so that they can actualize their potential and work dutifully. Giving\r\ncompensation in the kind of allowance will also improve their quality. Besides,\r\ngiving more chances to follow any formal or informal educational training,\r\nseminar, workshop, and any others will make their potential sustained and\r\nimproved well. Hence, their abilities and skills can be beneficial and they can be\r\nbroadminded employees with various perspectives.
