Hasil belajar merupakan hasil dari suatu interaksi tindak belajar dan tindak
mengajar. Hasil belajar IPS Terpadu siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Bandar
Lampung tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 masih sangat rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat
pada data hasil UTS semester ganjil mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu. Untuk
meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa perlu digunakan media dan model pembelajaran
yang sesuai yang dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.
