"Abstrak\r\n\r\nMarket selection process is a function of consumer characteristics and market\r\ncharacteristics. Consumer sorting or comparing the\r\ncharacteristics of markets in feel with the evaluation criteria of core customers.\r\nThe problem in this study is the occurrence of competition between modern\r\nmarkets and traditional markets Superstore Bandar Jaya.Permasalahannya is there\r\na difference in consumer attitudes and traditional markets Chandra Superstore\r\nBandar Jaya.\r\nThe purpose of this study was to determine the level difference and the\r\ncomparison level of consumer attitudes and traditional markets Chandra\r\nSuperstore Bandar Jaya. Research hypothesis is that there are differences in\r\nconsumer attitudes of modern markets and traditional markets Chandra Superstore\r\nBandar Jaya. The population in this study is the consumers who had shopped at\r\nSuperstore Chandra Bandar Jaya and traditional markets, while a sample is taken\r\nusing the formula of literacy so that unknown samples is 98 respondents. Analysis\r\niii\r\ntechniques used were paired t test with significance level α = 0.05. The results\r\nafter a test conducted with partial t-tests of each variable found a significant\r\ninfluence amounted to 0.042 is below the level of significance (α = 0.05) so that\r\nHo refused.\r\nThe conclusion of this research is the discrepancy between consumer attitudes and\r\nmarket Superstore Chandra Bandar Jaya on component price, promotion, and\r\nconvenience of shopping for a show reject Ho 0.000 below the level of\r\nsignificance (α = 0.05) were at the location component of (0.744) products (0.550)\r\nand services (0.223) is above the level of significance (α = 0.05), this means there\r\nis no difference.\r\nAdvice given in this study include:\r\n1.
