abstract: Endosulfan is aquatoxic and has an immediately effect on fish and other aquatic organism. The purpose of this study is to know of endosulfan effect on gonad of catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The exsposures were done during 8 weeks with 0 % (0 ppm) as control, 80 % (0,00216 ppm) and 90 % (0,00243 ppm) from subletal consentration that were got by toxicity test. After 8 weeks exposure to a 0% concentration (control) at testis, there were many spermatogonium in seminiferous tubules even though at the 80% and 90% concentration just a few spermatogonium, there were inflamed in cell and infiltration in tissue.  Eggs diameter in the control bigger than treatment (80% and 90%). This study showed that endosulfan influence to  the testis and ovary of catfish (Clarias gariepinus).
