N2  - Dermatitis Atopik menjadi masalah kesehatan terutama pada balita dikarenakan
sifatnya yang cenderung mengalami kekambuhan jika terpapar faktor risiko.
Dermatitis atopik biasanya muncul pada anak anak, dermatitis atopik dapat terjadi
jika terjadi diseregulasi pada IgE yang mengakibatkan kerusakan epidermal
barrier, salah satu faktor yang dapat mencegah terjadinya dermatitis atopik adalah
ASI. ASI eksklusif dapat melindungi anak dari penyakit dermatitis atopik karena
kandungan antibodi Th1 and asam lemak esensial yang ada dalam ASI yang dapat
melindungi bayi baru lahir dan mencegah timbulnya resiko alergi terutama
dermatitis atopik. Sehingga riwayat pemberian ASI yg baik mampu mengurangi
dari dermatitis atopik.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan riwayat ASI Ekslusif
terhadap kejadian dermatitis atopik pada anak usia 2-5 tahun di Poliklinik Rawat
Jalan Kulit dan Kelamin Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar
Lampung. Jenis penelitiaan ini adalah metode analitik observasional dengan
pendekatan cross sectional study. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah
67 orang dengan metode consecutive sampling.
Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji chi square, dan didapatkan hasil p =
0,001. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan bermakna riwayat
ASI Ekslusif terhadap kejadian dermatitis atopik pada anak usia 2-5 tahun di
Poliklinik Rawat Jalan Kulit dan Kelamin Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. H. Abdul
Moeloek Bandar Lampung.

abstract

Atopic Dermatitis is become a health problem, especially in infants because its is
likely to relapse when exposed to risk factors that can trigger dermatitis. Atopic
dermatitis usually appear in a very young age, atopic dermatitis can occur if IgE
disregulated resulting damage to epidermal barrier. One of the factor can prevent
atopic dermatitis is breast milk. Exclusive breastfeeding can protect children from
atopic dermatitis, so that the incidence can be reduced because the content of an
antibody Th1 and essensial fatty acid in breast milk that can protect newborns and
prevent risks allergies especially for atopic dermatitis. Therefore a good history
of breastfeeding can reduce atopic dermatitis.
The objective of this research was to find out the correlations of exclusive
breastfeeding to atopic dermatitis in child 2-5 years in Polyclinic of Dermatology
Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek General Hospital Bandar Lampung. This was an analytic
descriptive research with cross sectional approach. 67 respondent samples were
taken using consecutive sampling.
The chi square test result derived p = 0.001. The result showed that there were
correlations of exclusive breastfeeding to atopic dermatitis in child 2-5 years in
Polyclinic of Dermatology Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek General Hospital Bandar
Lampung. (p<0.05).
