Vocabulary is also important because it is a basic part to understand the meaning of what people said and written. It is a primary skill which should be mastered by the learners before they acquire other language skills, Such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Learning a language can start by learning its vocabulary first. The objective of this research was focused on the students’ habit in watching English movie and vocabulary size in the Frontrunner class or senior high school level. The objective of this research was to investigate the correlation between students' habit in watching English movie and their vocabulary size. According to the data of watching movie habit questionnaire, that contains three main factors of habit. There were frequency, behavior, and repetition. The results showed that the students’ response in answering questionnaire about habit in watching English movie for the maximal score was 93.3, the minimal score was 26.6, and the mean was 63.72. It was obtained that frequency factor occupied the most used factor by the students. The second factor was behavior factor. The third rank of factor was repetition factor. Based on the data of vocabulary size test result, it showed that the highest score was 82 (2568 words), the lowest score was 50 (1500 words), and the average was 75.81 (2352 words). The result showed that the correlation value between the two variables was 0.554 and the value of students’ watching English movie habit toward students’ vocabulary size was 0.3. Furthermore, it was found that the frequency factor had positive correlation with the students who got 71-100 range scores on vocabulary size test, while the repetition factor was the factor used by the majority of students who got 50-60 range scores on vocabulary size test. Based on the result, it could be concluded that there was a significant correlation between students' habit in watching English movie and their vocabulary size.
