Materi pembelajaran merupakan hal yang penting yang harus dipersiapkan guru sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan materi pembelajaran IPA yang disesuaikan dengan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dan pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ekplorasi yang penulisannya dinterprestasikan dalam penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas IV SD pilot project kurikulum 2013 kota Bandar Lampung sebanyak 10 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan analisis penelaahan RPP, observasi proses pembelajaran dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data meliputi mereduksi, menyajikan, dan menarik kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi meliputi penelaahan RPP, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengembangan materi pembelajaran IPA disesuaikan dengan tema dan standar isi. Guru melibatkan potensi, sumber dan media yang relevan. (2) Aspek kesesuaian pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan saintifik kategori baik. (3) Aspek kesesuaian pembelajaran IPA dengan pembelajaran tematik kategori sangat baik. Learning material is important to be prepared before implementing learning teacher. This study aimed to describe the development of science material learning based on thematic which adjusted by the application of a scientific approach and integrated thematic learning. The research was a exploratory interpreted in a descriptive research with qualitative approach. The research subjects were ten teachers the fourth grade teacher in pilot project of curriculum 2013 primary school in Bandar Lampung. Technique of data collection used analiytical review of lesson plans, observation, and documents. Analiysis data included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of data used triangulation technique includes a review of lesson plans, observation, and documentation. The results of this research indicated that: (1) Development of learning materials of IPA adjusted with theme and content standars. Teachers involved their potential, sources, and relevant media. (2) Aspects learning of IPA with the scientific approach were in good categories. (3) Aspects learning of IPA with the thematic learning were in excellent category.
