description: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap kerja guru terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gadingrejo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 196 orang guru dan yang dijadikan sampel sebanyak 25% dari populasi atau sebanyak 49 orang guru yang tersebar di 4 SMP.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peristiwa yang telah terjadi dan kemudian merunut ke belakang untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya peristiwa tersebut. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket degan skala Likert. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan persamaan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi ganda. Untuk mengetahui kebermaknaan persamaan regresi digunakan uji T dan uji F  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gadingrejo sebesar 63,4%, pengaruh sikap kerja guru terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gadingrejo sebesar 64,0%, kemudian pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan sikap kerja guru terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gadingrejo sebesar 78,6%.  Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, sikap kerja guru dan kompetensi pedagogik                    The objective of this research is to know the influence between leadership of principal and work attitude of teacher’s to pedagogical competence of junior teachers in Gadingrejo Regency. The population of this research is 196 teachers and 25% of population or 49 teachers are as the sample spread in 4 Junior High Schools This research is ex post facto research is meant to research past events and see the past to know the factors which cause the event happened. The data of this research uses the poll of Likert’s Scale. Meanwhile the data’s analysis was the similarity of simple linear regression and multi regression. To know the meaning of regression similarity is used T experiment and F experiment. The result of research show that the influence of Principal leadership to pedagogy competence of Junior High School’s teacher in Gadingrejo Regency is 63,4%, the influence of teacher’s attitude to pedagogy competence of Junior High School’s teacher in Gadingrejo Regency is 64.0%, then the influence both between the leadership of Principal and teachers work attitude to pedagogy competence of Junior High School’s teacher in Gadingrejo Regency is 78,6%  Keywords: Leadership principals, school work climate and pedagogical competence
