Areal alami pada HPKT Tahura WAR merupakan hutan sekunder sedangkan areal budidaya teridiri dari areal agroforestri kakao dan kopi campuran. Perbedaan pemanfaatan lahan yang dilakukan di kedua areal tersebut menyebabkan terdapat perbedaan pada penyerapan karbon khususnya pada serasah dan tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan simpanan karbon tanah dan serasah di areal alami dan budidaya. Penentuan plot di lapangan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2015. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis ragam untuk Rancangan Acak Lengkap dan kemudian diuji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur dengan taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan simpanan C serasah di areal budidaya dan areal alami dansimpanan C tanah di areal alami lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan areal budidaya budidaya di HPKT Tahura WAR. ABSTRACT Intergrated Conservation Education Forest Wan Abdul Rachman Great Forest Park is a conservation forest zone which have natural and cultivation area. Natural area is a secondary forest and cultivation area is cacao agroforestry areas and mixed coffee agroforestry area in ICGEF WAR Great Forest Park. The difference land utilization which have been performed in both area caused the difference in carbon sink particularly in litter and soil. This research was aimed to reveal the difference of litter and soil carbon stock in natural and cultivation area. Plot in this study field was determined by using purposive sampling method. The research was conducted in June-August 2015. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance for completely randomized design and continued with Honestly Significance Difference test at 5% level. The results showed that there was no difference of litter C stock in cultivation and natural area and soil C stock in natural area was higher than cultivate area in ICGEF WAR Great Forest Park.
