Persentase ketuntasan prestasi\r\nbelajar siswa pada ujian tengah semester ganjil TP. 2015/2016 yaitu 37,5% dari\r\n16 siswa. Peneliti melaksanakan perbaikan pembelajaran dengan tujuan\r\nmeningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran\r\nkooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD).\r\nMetode penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan empat tahapan\r\nsetiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian\r\ndilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan dua kali pertemuan tiap siklusnya. Alat\r\npengumpul data adalah dengan lembar observasi dan tes. Analisis data\r\nmenggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif.\r\nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi\r\nbelajar matematika melalui metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams\r\nAchievement Divisions (STAD) dari siklus ke siklus. Peningkatan aktivitas\r\nklasikal siswa pada siklus I rata-rata sebesar 58,56 dengan persentase jumlah\r\nsiswa aktif 37,50% (kurang aktif), dan pada siklus II rata-rata sebesar 72,19\r\ndengan persentase jumlah siswa aktif 81,25% (sangat aktif). Sementara ketuntasan\r\nprestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 62,50% dengan nilai rata-rata 70,25\r\ndan pada siklus II sebesar 87,50% dengan nilai rata-rata 81,00.\r\nKata kunci : Aktivitas,
