description: Pengawas dalam melaksanakan tugasnya belum terlaksana dengan maksimal.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis kinerja pengawas  madrasah yang meliputi 4 komponen, yaitu: penyusunan program pengawasan,  pelaksanaan program, evaluasi, membimbing dan melatih profesional guru.  Metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif yang didasari teori fenomenologi. Informan  penelitian berjumlah 8 orang yang terdiri dari kepala seksi tenaga pendidik dan  kependidikan 1 orang, pengawas Madrasah 3 orang, dan 4 guru madrasah. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan Kinerja Pengawas Madrasah dalam melaksanakan  tugasnya baik pelaksanaan program pengawasan, evaluasi, serta pelaksanaan  pembimbingan dan pelatihan profesional guru belum terlaksana dengan baik.  Pengawas perlu mendapat pelatihan sesuai tugas pokok dan fungsinya.  Kata Kunci: kinerja, pengawas, madrasah      abstrak bahasa inggris    Supervisors in performing their duties has not been implemented to the maximum.  The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the performance of  supervisory madrasah which includes four components, namely: the preparation  of the surveillance program, program implementation, evaluation, professional  guide and train teachers. Qualitative research methods that are based on the  theory of phenomenology. The informants were 8 people consisting of a section  chief educators 1, supervisors Madrasah 3, and 4 madrasah teachers. The results  showed performance in their duties Madrasah Supervisory good monitoring  program implementation, evaluation, and implementation guidance and  professional training of teachers has not done well. Supervisors should receive  training in accordance with their duties and functions.  Keywords: performance, supervisors, madrasah
