title: PENGEMBANGAN PERPUSTAKAAN DIGITAL BAHASA INDONESIA
UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI INFORMASI SISWA SMA
DI BANDARLAMPUNG

abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan potensi dikembangkannya
perpustakaan di sekolah, 2) menghasilkan produk perpustakaan digital, 3) menganalisis
efektivitas, 4) efisiensi, dan 5) daya tarik perpustakaan digital. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan.
Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari tahap pengembangan produk dan tahap penerapan
produk. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas di Bandarlampung, yaitu
Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 12, Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 15, dan Sekolah
Menengah Atas Al-azhar 3. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi,
angket, dan test dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test independen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) sekolah memiliki potensi, yakni setiap sekolah
menyediakan sekitar 2-3 unit komputer pada ruang perpustakaan, sudah memiliki ruang
laboratorium komputer sendiri, komputer yang disediakan sesuai dengan jumlah siswa,
spesifikasi komputer sesuai dengan tuntutan software, 2)sebuah produk perpustakaan
digital berbasis komputer yang dimuat dalam kepingan CD (Compact Disk), 3)
efektivitas produkdigunakan uji t dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang diberikan
kepada siswa. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan mean hasil
posttest (83,75) > pretest (36,6875) dengan t hitung (35.364)>t tabel(1.671)dengan
demikian perpustakaan digital lebih efektif dapat meningkatkan literasi, 4) efisiensi
produkdengan penghematan waktu 25%, pelaksanaan penggunaan perpustakaan
digital lebih sedikit dibandingkan waktu yang direncanakan, dan 5) daya tarik
produk sangat baik dengan hasil sebesar 92,13%.

ABSTRACT

This research is aimed at 1) Describle the potential for the development of
libraries in schools, 2) producing digital library, 3) analyzing its effectivity,
4) analyzing its efeciency and 5) analyzing the interest of digital library.
This research used research method and development. The steps in
conducting the research was developing product and applying product. The
research was conducted in three senior high schools in Bandarlampung:
Senior High School 12, Senior High School 15 and Senior High School Al-
Azhar 3. The data was obtained by using observation sheet and questionnaire.
The test was analized by using Independent t-test.
The research result showed that 1) the schools had a potency in which each
school supplied about 2-3 computers in the library, then they have had their
own computer laboratory and the computers have been supplied was based on
the students’ amount, then the computers’ specification have been suitable
with the standard of its software, 2) a computer based digital library product
was contained in a CD (Compact Disk), 3) the effectivity of product used Ttest
from the result of pretest and posttest that was given to the students. The
result of T-test showed that there was a difference of the mean score in
posttest (83,75) > pretest (36,6875) in which tvalue (35.364) > t table(1.671). In line
with this, digital library was able to improve the literacy, 4) the efficiency of
product with the time 25% was decreased, then the used of digital library was
more effective then the time that was planned, 5) the interest of the product was
very good with 92,13%.
