N2  - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sosialisasi SBMPTN terhadap minat siswa melanjutkan studi ke Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Tipe penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuisioner kepada responden. responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 1 Kelumbayan yang duduk di kelas XII berjumlah 45 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis regresin linier sederhana dan uji determinasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa sosialisasi formal lah menurut responden adalah sosialisasi yang paling efektif. Artinya, sosialisasi SBMPTN berpengaruh terhadap minat siswa melanjutkan studi ke Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Akan tetapi, sosialisasi bukanlah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi minat.

ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS

This research aims for knowing about the influence of SBMPTN  socialization to the students interest continuing to the university. Type of this research used quantitative descriptive research by collected primary data kuisioner from the responden. responden in this research is the students of SMA Negeri 1 Kelumbayan in a grade XII amount 45 student.  The tehnique data analyze is using the analyze statistic descriptive, analyze regresion simple linier and desternination exam. Based on the research, the result is that formal sosialization is the most effective ways by the responden. It means that the SBMPTN socialization influence the students to continue their study to the university. But,it is not the only factors that influence it.
