N2  - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang Faktor-Faktor Pendukung Kerajinan Geribik Bambu di Kelurahan Rejomulyo Kecamatan Metro Selatan Kota Metro Tahun 2015, dengan titik tekan kajiannya pada ketersediaan modal, ketersediaan bahan baku, ketersediaan tenaga kerja, kemudahan sarana transportasi dan pemasaran hasil produksi.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan populasi sebanyak 8 pengrajin. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan tabulasi persentase sebagai dasar interpretasi dan deskripsi dalam membuat laporan hasil penelitian.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1)Modal untuk produksi per bulan selalu tersedia yang berasal dari pengrajin geribik bambu sendiri. (2) Seluruh pengrajin geribik bambu selalu terpenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakunya yang berasal dari Kelurahan Rejomulyo. (3)Tenaga kerja selalu tersedia, karena tidak membutuhkan tenaga kerja yang banyak dan tenaga kerja berasal dari keluarga. (4) Kebutuhan transportasi setiap pengrajin selalu terpenuhi, baik dalam pengangkutan bahan baku dan pemasaran karena berstatus milik sendiri. (5) Seluruh pengrajin menyatakan lancar dalam pemasaran hasil produksi, persaingan antar pengrajin yang biasanya menjadi kendala dalam pemasaran.

ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS

This research was purposed to observe the supporting factors of bamboo geribik industry in District Rejomulyo, Subdistrict South Metro, Metro City in 2015. This research was focusing on the financial availability, raw material availability, labour availability, the distribution and product marketing.

This research was using descriptive method, with 8 craftsmen population. The data collecting technique of this research was using observation, structured interview and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research was using percentage tabulation as the basic interpretation and description of the result of this research.

The result of this research showed: (1) the financial for monthly production was always available from the craftsmen itself. (2) All the craftsmen of bamboo geribik was always able to get the raw material originated from District Rejomulyo. (3) The labour was always available because this industry did not need many labours and the labour was available from the family of the craftsmen. (4) The distribution of each craftsman was always available, whether on the distribution of the raw material or marketing, because the transportation was the property of the craftsmen itself. (5) All the craftsmen declared that the marketing of the product was good.
