abstract: ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh PDRB
terhadap kualitas lingkungan hidup di Pulau Sumatera Tahun 2010-2014. PDRB yang
dijadikan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah PDRB Sektor Pertanian, Industri
Pengolahan, dan Transportasi Pergudangan masing-masing provinsi di Pulau
Sumatera selama lima tahun yaitu 2010 sampai 2014.Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah Generalized Least Square (GLS) dengan Model Efek Tetap
(Fixed Effect Model) dan menggunakan Eviews6.0 sebagai alat analisisnya.
Hasil dari analisis yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa ketiga nilai PDRB Sektor
yang dijadikan variabel bebas berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikat IKLH. Dengan
tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 95 % dan hasil yang signifikan, hal tersebut
menunjukkan adanya kesesuaian dengan Kurva Lingkungan Kuznet (Environtmental
Kuznet Curve / EKC). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan juga dapat memberikan
beberapa langkah kongkrit yang harus dilakukan pemerintah dan pihak terkait untuk
bisa menciptakan pembangunan ekonomi dan infrastruktur yang berwawasan
lingkungan.
Kata Kunci : Indeks Kualitas Lingkungan Hidup (IKLH), Kurva Lingkungan Kuznet,
PDRB Sektor Pertanian, Industri Pengolahan, Transportasi Pergudangan.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze and determine the influence of the GDRP to
environmental quality in the Sumatra Island in 2010-2014. GDRP is used as
independent variables in this study is the GDRP Agriculture, Manufacturing,
Transportation and Warehousing each province in Sumatra Island for five years
2010 to 2014. The method used in this research is the Generalized Least
Square (GLS) with Fixed Effects Model and use Eviews6.0 as a tool of analysis.
Results of the analysis showed that the third sector is the value of GDRP is used
as independent variables affect the dependent variable Environmental Quality
Index (EQI). With a confidence level of 95% and a significant result, it shows a
lack of compatibility with the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC).From the
results of research conducted may also provide some concrete steps that must be
taken by the government and relevant parties can do to create economic
develpoment and infrastructure that is environmentally concept.
