abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji lokasi titik-titik
kemacetan, kendaraan tertinggi yang melintas pada waktu pagi, siang dan sore,
faktor yang menyebabkan kemacetan di jalan utama Kota Bandar Lampung pada
Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Teknik analisis data
menggunakan teknik analisis kinerja jalan yaitu analisis volume lalu lintas dan
hambatan samping.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi titik-titik kemacetan di Kota Bandar
Lampung yaitu pada ruas jalan Raden Intan, Imam Bonjol dan Simpang Unila.
Kendaraan yang melintas pada ketiga ruas jalan di Kota Bandar Lampung yang
memiliki volume lalu lintas paling tinggi terdapat pada ruas jalan Imam Bonjol
pada pukul 06.30-07.30 WIB, pukul 12.00-13.00 WIB dan pukul 16.00-17.00
WIB. Faktor yang menyebabkan kemacetan pada ruas jalan di Kota Bandar
Lampung ialah jumlah kendaraan yang bertambah tiap tahun, kurangnya
kedisiplinan pengguna jalan terhadap peraturan lalu lintas dan hambatan samping
yang tinggi.
Kata Kunci: kemacetan lalu lintas dan lokasi kemacetan.

ABSTRACT

This research aimed to know and examine the location of traffic congestion, the
highest of vehicles in the morning, afternoon and evening on main street of
Bandar Lampung. The data collection was done by observation and
documentation. Analysis techniques data using analysis techniques analysis
performance the volume of traffic and obstacles side.
The results of the study that could be observed that are : location traffic points of
Bandar Lampung cityare roads Raden Intan, Imam Bonjol and intersection of
Unila. The vehicles passing on three roads of Bandar Lampung city that possesses
the volume traffic the highest happened to roads Imam Bonjol at 06.30-07.30
WIB, at 12.00-13.00 WIB and at 16.00-17.00 WIB. A factor causing traffic
congestion at roads in the city Bandar Lampung is the number of vehicles has
every year, lack of discipline road users to rules traffic, factors obstacles side high
the road users that wade carelessly and vehicles stop in any place.
