Perkembangan media sosial sangat pesat sehingga menyentuh sektor pemerintahan.
Penggunaan media sosial twitter diharapkan dapat menjadi penyambung pejabat
publik dan masyarakat untuk dapat mendukung penerapan good governance.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis lingkup pemanfaatan media sosial twitter
oleh pejabat publik dalam penerapan good govenance.Penelitian ini menggunakan
pendekatan dan tipe kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan, dengan fokus lingkup
pemanfaatan media sosial twitter oleh pejabat publik dengan objek penelitian pada
akun twitter Gubernur Lampung, Gubernur Jawa Tengah, dan Wali Kota Bandung
dalam penerapan good governance dan bentuk feed back dari masyarakat terhadap
penggunaan media sosial twitter pada periode waktu 1 November 2015 - 31 Januari
2016.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan twitter oleh pejabat publik pada akun
twitter Gubernur Lampung, Gubernur Jawa Tengah, dan Wali Kota Bandung
beragam dan sebagai media informasi publik mampu mendukung penerapan good
governance. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini lingkup pemanfaatan media sosial twitter
oleh pejabat publik Gubernur Lampung, Gubernur Jawa Tengah dan Wali Kota
Bandung telah menuju pada penerapan good governance namun belum maksimal
dilihat dari pemanfaatan content-content dalam twitter yang belum maksimal, dan
feed back dari masyarakat berbanding lurus dengan keaktifan pengguna twitter. Saran
dari penelitian ini sebaiknya pejabat publik Gubernur Lampung, Gubernur Jawa
Tengah, dan Wali Kota Bandung sebagai leader dan manager dapat memaksimalkan
pemanfaatkan media sosial twitter.

The User Analysis Of Social Media Twitter On Public Officials For The Implementation Of Good Governance (The Study On The Twitter Account Of Lampung Governor, Jawa Tengah Governor, And Bandung Mayor)

The development of social media is growing very rapidly so it touches the public sector. The use of social media twitter expected to be connecting public officials and the community to support the implementation of good governance. This study was conducted to analyze the scope of the utilization of social media twitter by public officials in the implementation of good governance. This research used qualitative approach to the study of literature, with a focus on the scope of the used social media twitter by public officials with the object of research on the some twitter accounts of Lampung Governor, Jawa Tengah Governor, and the Mayor Of Bandungin the implementation of good governance and the form of feedback from the public on the use of social media twitter in the time period of the 1st November 2015 ? 31st Januari 2016.
The results of this study indicated the use of twitter by public officials in the Governor twitter account of Lampung, Jawa Tengah Governor, and the Mayor of Bandung diversed and as public information media capable of supporting the implementation of good governance. The conclution of this study was scope of the use social media twitter by public officials LampungGovernor, Governorof Jawa Tengah and Bandung Mayor has led to the implementation of good governance but not maximamum from the use of contents in twitter, and the feedback was propotional with the liveliness of twitter users. The sugestions from this study LampungGovernor, Jawa Tengah Governor and Mayor of Bandung should have and manager to maximize the utilization of twitter as social media.
