Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Ibnu Rusyd dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan, yang di mana pada saat ini STAI Ibnu Rusyd belum mampu mengatasi masalah pendidikan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Adapun yang difokuskan dalam penelitian adalah analisis lingkungan internal dan lingkungan eksternal pada STAI Ibnu Rusyd. Peneliti menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. 

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dari analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal dapat ditemukan elemen-elemen yang tergolong dalam kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Dari matriks EFE dan EFI yang memasukan elemen-elemen tersebut didapatkan hasil bahwa STAI Ibnu Rusyd belum mampu memanfaatkan peluang dan kekuatan serta rentan terhadap kelemahan dan ancaman. Selanjutnya dari pembahasan, dilakukan perumusan dengan matriks analisis SWOT yang kemudian menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa strategi yang harus dilakukan antara lain peningkatan kapasitas dosen, pengadaan beasiswa atau CSR, meningkatkan sumber daya modal melalui jaringan kerjasama, dan membuat strategi pemasaran. Adapun saran yang dapat diberikan peneliti yaitu: (1) STAI Ibnu Rusyd harus mengetahui lebih mengenai lingkungan sekitar organisasi; (2) STAI Ibnu Rusyd harus mampu menetapkan strategi yang akan digunakan dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan; (3) STAI harus lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam memberikan layanan kepada mahasiswa.


ABSTRACT


This study discusses the strategy of Islamic High School (STAI) Ibnu Rusyd in improving the quality of service, in which at the moment STAI Averroes has not been able to overcome educational problems that occur in Lampung Utara regency. The research is focused on the analysis of internal environment and the external environment on the STAI Ibnu Rusyd. Researchers used descriptive research type with qualitative approach. This study was conducted with data collection techniques consisting of interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.

Based on this research, analysis of internal and external environment can be found elements belonging to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. From the matrix EFE and EFI that incorporate these elements showed that the STAI Ibnu Rusyd has not been able to take advantage of the opportunities and the strengths and weaknesses and vulnerable to threats. Furthermore, from the discussion, the formulation with the SWOT analysis matrix which then lead to the conclusion that the strategy should include an increase in the capacity of lecturers, scholarships or CSR procurement, improve capital resources through cooperation networks, and create a marketing strategy. The advice can be given researchers namely: (1) STAI Ibnu Rusyd should know more about the area surrounding the organization; (2) STAI Ibnu Rusyd should be able to adopt a strategy that will be used in efforts to improve the quality of service; (3) STAI to be more creative and innovative in providing services to students.
