title: PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA INDUSTRI PERHOTELAN
DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG

abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh jumlah hotel, jumlah kamar,
dan upah minimum terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Lampung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang didapat melalui Badan Pusat
Statistik Provinsi Lampung. Data yang digunakan adalah data time series. Model
penelitian menggunakan regresi berganda dan diestimasinya dengan Ordinary
Least Square (OLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas jumlah hotel,
jumlah kamar, dan upah minimum, mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan
terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Lampung. Saran yang diajukan
berdasarkan hasil penelitian adalah meningkatkan jumlah hotel, jumlah kamar dan
meningkatkan kualitas tenaga kerja hotel serta mengupayakan peningkatan pada
upah minimum di Provinsi Lampung.
Kata Kunci: jumlah hotel, jumlah kamar, tenaga kerja, dan upah minimum.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of number of hotels, rooms,
and minimum wages toward labor absorption in the province of Lampung. The
research using secondary data which was obtained from Central Statistical
Agency in Province Lampung. Tthis research uses time series. data and estimated
by Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result of the research shows that the number
of hotels, rooms, and the minimum wage has a positive effect and statistically
significant to labor absorption in Lampung Province. Proposed suggestions based
on the results of this study is to increasing the number of hotels, rooms, and to
improving the quality of hotels labour and also to effort an increase minimum
wages in Lampung Province.
