Ada 6 data sumur yang telah di analisa dan dinamai X-110, X-107, X109, X-119, X-114, X-108. Tiga dari data log memiliki data pendukung OMRI Image dan data Mudlog. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Halliburton Indonesia, Formation Reservoir Solution division dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah pengendapan, untuk menzonakan karakter reservoir, mengenali lingkungan dengan fasies yang sama dan memprediksi model pengendapan yang sesuai dari lapangan. Analisa membuktikan bahwa lapangan X terdiri dari pengendapan fasies dengan lingkungan konstruksi delta yang tinggi dan dipengaruhi oleh marine dan non-marine. Sendimen klastik yang mengandung hidrokarbon dibawa oleh badan delta dan dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan ombak dan pasang. Keynote: fasies, OMRI Image, paleocurrent, delta. This dissertation made to review the paleocurrent sedimentologycal aspect of the X-Field in Kutai Basin based of petrophysics parameter, OMRI Image interpretation and facies analysis. There are 6 well data has been analyzed named X-110, X-107, X109, X-119, X-114, X-108. Three of the log data support by OMRI Image and Mudlog data. The research was done in Halliburton Indonesia, Formation Reservoir Solution division and aimed to understanding paleocurrent sedimentation history, to zoning character reservoir rock based, recognized facies image into environmentally related facies assemblages and prediction appropriate depositional model from the field. The analysis revealed that the X-Field is based from facies deposition in high construction deltaic environment with marine and non-marine influenced. The clastical sediment containing oil and gas is derived from sandstone body delta and deposition influenced by strength of wave and tides.
