    Background: Low Back Pain (LBP) is a musculoskeletal disorder as a result of incorrect ergonomics. 90\%  cases of LBP is not caused by organic disorder, but by mistake body position at work. Several factors are associated with the occurrence of LBP include individual characteristics such as age, gender, body mass index (BMI), height, exercise habits, length of employment and working positions. Objective: to determine the relationship of prolonged sitting posture and the incidence of LBP on tailor convection. Methods: This study is a descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach conducted on convection in the village tailor Way Halim  Bandar Lampung, by way of observation, interview, questionnaire and physical examination, including tests LASEQUE. The sampling technique using cross sectional formula with a sample of 43 people included in the criteria insklusi. Data were analyzed using chi square test. Results: of this research in getting the results of respondents complaining of LBP due hunched position as much as 20 respondents (46.5\%) with a p-value 0.006 and prolonged sitting static ?4 hours as much as 20 respondents (46.5\%) with a p-value 0.045 using a type 1 error level {\ensuremath{\alpha}} of 5\%. Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between prolonged sitting and sitting position of respondents to the incidence of LBP on tailor convection in the Village Way Halim Bandar Lampung. Latar Belakang: Low Back Pain (LBP) adalah salah satu gangguan muskuloskeletal akibat dari ergonomi yang salah. 90\% kasus LBP bukan disebabkan oleh kelainan organik, melainkan oleh kesalahan posisi tubuh dalam bekerja. Beberapa faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian LBP meliputi karakteristik individu misal usia, jenis kelamin, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), tinggi badan, kebiasaan olahraga, lama kerja dan posisi kerja.  Tujuan: untuk mengetahui hubungan posisi duduk dan lama duduk terhadap kejadian LBP pada penjahit konveksi. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada penjahit konveksi di kelurahan Way Halim Bandar Lampung, dengan cara melakukan observasi, wawancara, pengisian kuesioner dan pemeriksaan fisik yang meliputi tes laseque. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 43 orang yang termasuk dalam kriteria insklusi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square.  Hasil: dari penelitian ini di dapatkan hasil responden yang mengeluhkan LBP akibat posisi duduk membungkuk sebanyak 20 responden (46,5\%) dengan p-value 0,006 dan lama duduk statis ?4 jam sebanyak 20 responden (46,5\%) dengan p-value 0,045 dengan menggunakan taraf kesalahan {\ensuremath{\alpha}} tipe 1 yaitu 5\%. Simpulan: terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara lama duduk dan posisi duduk responden terhadap kejadian LBP pada penjahit konveksi di Kelurahan Way Halim Kota Bandar Lampung.
