%A 1013022058 Sandi Monika %T Pengaruh Kemampuan Membangun Mode Representasi terhadap Pemecahan Masalah Fisika dengan Menerapkan Inkuiri Terbimbing %X Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan di SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung, masih banyak siswa yang menganggap fisika merupakan mata pelajaran yang sulit karena banyak menggunakan rumus matematis dan banyak pengembangan konsepnya. Diduga kesulitan siswa disebabkan kemampuan siswa untuk membangun mode representasi seperti mengoperasikan rumus fisika secara matematika, membuat grafik dan tabel masih kurang. Materi gerak memiliki beberapa format representasi seperti persamaan matematis, grafik hubungan antar variabel, tabel serta penggunaan simbol dan satuan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan membangun mode representasi terhadap pemecahan masalah fisika melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan multi representasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung, menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VII_C dengan jumlah sampel 24 siswa. Data kemampuan membangun mode representasi diperoleh dengan 5 butir soal yang diberikan kepada siswa dan data pemecahan masalah diperoleh melalui 7 butir soal yang diberikan pada akhir pembelajaran. Sebelum dilakukan uji regresi, data kemampuan representasi dan pemecahan masalah dikenakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas yang dianalisis dengan bantuan SPSS 21. Kemudian untuk menguji pengaruh dilakukan uji regresi linear sederhana antara data kemampuan membangun mode representasi dan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan membangun mode representasi terhadap pemecahan masalah fisika, dengan kontribusi sebesar 85,3% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square). Nilai koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,924 dan persamaan regresinya adalah Y? = 9,167 + 0,921 X. Kata kunci : gerak, inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan membangun mode representasi, pemecahan masalah. The previous study in State Junior High School 8 in Bandar Lampung showed that many students perceived physic as a difficult subject because it employed many mathematical formulas and there were many concept developments. The student?s difficulty was suspected to be caused by student?s ability to generate representation mode such as operating physic formula mathematically and less ability in creating graphic and tables. Movement material has dome format of representations such as mathematical equation, graphic relationship between variables, tables and the use symbols and units of measurements. Therefore, the objective of this research was to find out the influence of ability to generate representation mode to physic problem solving by applying guided inquiry with multi interpretation approach. This research was conducted in State Junior High School 8 in Bandar Lampung by using classroom VIIC with 24 students as samples. Data of ability in generating representation mode were collected with 5 problems given to students and data of problem solving were collected by giving 7 problems to students in the end of lesson. Representation ability data were tested with normality and linearity tests, and finally with regression test, by using SPSS 21. Simple linier regression test was conducted to test the influence between data of ability in generating representation mode and data of problem solving ability. The results showed that there was a positive, linear and significant influence between generating representation mode ability and problem solving in physic subject, with contribution of 85.3% as the value of determination coefficient (R Square). The correlation coefficient value (R) was 0.924 and the regression equation was Y? = 9.167 + 0.921 X.
