N2  - Dalam usaha menumbuh kembangkan usaha kecil dan menengah termasuk industri jasa dagang produk meubler serta untuk mengatasi pengangguran terdapat persoalan yang harus dipecahkan, salah satunya yaitu tentang permintaan akan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel upah, harga bahan baku, modal operasioal, investasi tetap dan harga output terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menghitung dan menganalisa seberapa besar pengaruh upah, harga bahan baku, investasi tetap dan harga output terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri jasa dagang produk meubler di Kotabumi Lampung Utara. Berdasarkan  hasil estimasi diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel tersebut secara bersama- sama berpengaruh terhadap permintaan tenaga kerja sebesar  70,42% dan sisanya 29,58% di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian juga diperoleh bahwa upah berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan, harga bahan baku dan investasi tetap berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan, serta modal operasional dan harga output berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri jasa dagang produk meubler di Kotabumi Lampung Utara.

abstract

In a effert to grow and develop the small and medium industries including the trading service industries of meubler  products, and the overcome the unemployment, there are problems that have to be solved. One of them is about the demand of workers. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of salary, raw materials price, operational capital, fixed investment, and output price variables to the absorbtion of workers. This research uses the double linear regression analysis, to complete and analize how much the influence of salary, raw material price, fixed investment, and output price to the absorbtion of workers on the trading service industries of meubler product in Kotabumi North Lampung. The estimation result yields that those variables affect simultaneously to the demand of workers about 70,42% and the rest 29,58% are affected by other variables outside this research. This research also abtains the result that salary variable affect, negatively and significantly, the operational capital and output price affect positively industries of meubler products in Kotabumi North Lampung.
