Penelitian skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan suatu usaha, yaitu usaha ternak ayam probiotik KPA BUB yang dilihat dari aspek finansial usaha ternak ayam probiotik tersebut.. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara studi kasus pada KPA BUB yang berada di Kelurahan Yosomulyo 21, Kecamatan Metro Pusat, Kota Metro sebagai lokasi penelitian. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januar hingga Maret 2016. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang peternak yang di pilih secara sampling. Pada analisis aspek finansial menggunakan kriteria investasi NPV, Net B/C Ratio, Gross B/C Ratio, IRR, Payback Periode, ROI pada tingkat suku bunga 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha ternak ayam probiotik dinyatakan layak dan menguntungkan dengan perolehan nilai NPV Rp22.842.263. Selain itu diperoleh nilai Net B/C Ratio, Gross B/C Ratio, IRR,dan Payback Period adalah 2,2, 1,08, 51,6 persen, 2,6 tahun secara berturut-turut. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha ternak ayam probiotik adalah layak dan menguntungkan.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to determine the feasibility of a business, such as chicken farming probiotic KPA Bub viewed from the financial aspects of the probiotic chicken farming .. Research conducted a case study on KPA Bub is located in the Village Yosomulyo 21, District Metro Centre, City Metro as a research location. Collecting data of this study was conducted in Januar to March 2016. Respondents in this study were 8 people breeder selected by sampling. In the analysis of the financial aspects of using investment criteria NPV, Net B / C Ratio, Gross B / C ratio, IRR, payback period, ROI on interest rates 17. The results showed that probiotic chicken farming as feasible and beneficial to the acquisition value of  NPV Rp.22.842.263. Besides the values obtained Net B / C Ratio, Gross B / C ratio, IRR, and Payback Period was 2.20, 1.08, 65 percent, 2.2 years respectively. It can be concluded that the probiotic chicken farming is a viable and profitable.
