Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum diketahuinya Ekonomi Keluarga dan
Prestasi Belajar Pada Mahasiswa Semester 7 Penjaskes Universitas Lampung
Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
metode deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 65 mahasiswa semester
7 penjaskes Universitas Lampung tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Dengan sample 53
orang menggunakan random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan
menggunakan angket/kuisioner, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Hasil analisis data
penelitian adalah tidak ada hubungan ekonomi keluarga dengan prestasi belajar
mahasiswa semester 7 penjaskes Universitas Lampung. Hal ini dikarenakan
beberapa mahasiswa yang mempunyai ekonomi keluarga kurang dari UMP tetapi
memiliki nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) yang sangat baik, sedangkan
beberapa mahasiswa lainnya yang mempunyai ekonomi keluarga yang cukup baik
tidak memiliki nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) diatas 3.00 (rendah).
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa tidak ada hubungan ekonomi
keluarga dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa semester 7 penjaskes Universitas
Lampung tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

ABSTRACT

The problems of this research was no to find out the family economy and learning
achievements of 7th semester students in Physical Education Department in
Lampung University in academic year 2016/2017. This was a descriptive
qualitative research. Population was 65 students of 7th semester in Physical
Education Department in Lampung University in academic year 2016/2017. 53
samples were taken with random sampling technique. Data were collected with
questionnaires, documentations, and triangulation. Data were analyzed
descriptively. The research result showed that there was no correlation between
family economy and learning achievements of 7th semester students in Physical
Education Department in Lampung University. Some of students belonged to
families with incomes below minimum regional salary (GPA) but they had good
GPAs, while other students belong to families with good incomes but their GPAs
were not above 3.00 (lower GPAs). The conclusion of this research was that there
was no correlation between family economy and learning achievements of 7th
semester students in Physical Education Department in Lampung University in
academic year 2016/2017.
