CEKUNGAN SUMATERA UTARA %X abstrak Aplikasi tekanan pori salah satunya adalah untuk penentuan zona bawah permukaan. Zona bawah permukaan umumnya terdapat zona abnormal dan zona normal. Zona abnormal disebut juga overpressure. Penentuan overpressure penting dilakukan dalam bidang drilling hzard seprti penentuan berat lumpur serta pemasangan casing. Penentuan overpressure dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi erjadinya drilling hazard akibat loss atau kick. Data yang digunakan untuk stimasi tekanan pori diantaranya data drilling dan data logging. Estimasi tekanan pori dengan metode Eaton memanfaatkna data logging diantaranya data log GR dan sonik. Estimasi tekanan pori akan valid apabila dikoreksi dengan data pengeboran seperti data pengukuran tekanan langsung Kata Kunci: Tekanan Pori, Overpressure, Eaton, Formasi Lower Baong, Tipe 1, Tipe 2 abstract One of application of pore pressure is for determining subsurface zone. The subsurface zone generally has an abnormal zone and a normal zone. The abnormal zone is also called overpressure. Determination of overpressure is important in the field of drilling hazard such as determining the weight of the mud and the installation of the casing. Determination of overpressure is to anticipate of driling hazard accidents due to loss or kick. Data used to estimate pore pressures include drilling data and logging data. Pore pressure estimation by Eaton method takes advantage of logging data such as GR and sonic log data.
