Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri Marga  Kaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment desain penelitian  nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total  sampling. Tehnik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi dan tes. Data dianalisis  menggunakan uji independent sample t test Polled Varian. Hasil analisis data  diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh menggunakan model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe Number Head Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPS  siswa kelas VB SD Negeri Marga Kaya kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan  Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata prestasi  belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model NHT pada  kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa yang  mengikuti metode pembelajaran ceramah pada kelas kontrol.  Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, IPS, number head together.    ABSTRACT    The problem in this research is the students learn social studies remains low. The  purpose at this study is to determine the influence of cooperative learning model  NHT thype on the learning outcomes at social study. The method used in this  research is quasi experimental research design non equivalent control group  design. This study using total sampling technique. The main instruments used  were a documentation and test. Data analyzed using independent sample t test  Polled Varian. Data analyzed using independent sample t test Polled Varian. The  results of data analysis research concluded there are influence of cooperative  learning model number head together type towards learning outcomes on  student’s at social study class VB SD Negeri Marga Kaya Kecamatan Jati Agung  South Lampung Year Teaching 2016/2017. This is indicated by the average value  of student achievement the following study uses a model IPS NHT the  experimental class is higher than the average value of student achievement that  followed the lecture teaching methods in the control class.
