Adapun hasil analisis soal yang telah diujikan yaitu soal memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,64% untuk soal pilihan jamak\r\ndan 0,82% untuk soal uraian dan dikategorikan ke dalam soal yang memiliki\r\ntingkat reliabilitas yang tinggi dan memiliki daya pembeda yang baik pada setiap\r\nbutir soalnya. Selain memiliki validitas, reliabilitas dan daya beda dengan kriteria\r\nyang baik, soal HOTS yang dikembangkanpun memiliki karakteristik HOTS yang\r\nbersifat kontekstual yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan nyata (\r\nKata kunci: hots, instrumen asesmen, dimensi pengetahuan\r\n\r\nABSTRACT\r\n\r\nThis study aims to develop the Higher Order Thinking Skill (\r\ninstrument as an enrichment instrument for the assessment of high thinking skills\r\nin science lessons in junior high schools, to develop basic competence (\r\nindicators used for HOTS assessment instruments, and see the characteristics of\r\nHOTS assessment instruments developed as an alternative instrument for skill\r\nlevels.
