%X Penelitian  ini  bertujuan untuk  mengetahui  apakah  terdapat  pengaruh  penggunaan model inkuiri  sosial terhadap  hasil  belajar  IPS  siswa  kelas  V  SD  Negeri  1 Kampung  Baru  Kota  Bandar  Lampung  Tahun  Ajaran  2016/2017. Metode penelitian  ini  adalah  eksperimen  semu  (quasi eksperimen). Populasi  dalam penelitian  ini  adalah  seluruh  siswa  kelas  V di SD  Negeri  1  Kampung  Baru yang berjumlah  42  siswa  dan  menjadi  sampel  penelitian adalah 20  siswa.  Pada  kelas eksperimen menggunakan model inkuiri sosial dengan langkah-langkah orientasi, merumuskan  masalah,  merumuskan  hipotesis,  mengumpulkan  data,  menguji hipotesis,  dan  merumuskan  kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri sosial memberi pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS  siswa  kelas  V  SD  Negeri  1  Kampung Baru dengan t  hitung  sebesar -26,455 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan df = n – 2 = (42 – 2 ) = 40, signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.    Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran, inkuiri sosial, hasil belajar IPS    ABSTRACT    This research aims to know the effect of social inquiry model to 5th grade’s student results of social subject in SD Negeri 1 Kampung Baru Bandar Lampung. Quasi experiment method are used in this research. Population in this research are all 5th grade students in SD Negeri 1 Kampung Baru with total 42 students and 20 students as samples. The experiment class using social inquiry model with measures orientation, defining problems, formulating hypothesis, collecting data, hypothesis testing and drawing conclusions. Data were analyzed by using independent t test. Result of the research states that there is significant effect of social inquiry learning model to 5th grades’s student results of social subject in SD Negeri 1 Kampung Baru. The test results showed tcount rates of -26.455 with 5% significant level and df = n-2 = (42-2) = 40, with p-value 0.000<0.05, H0 rejected and Ha accepted.
