The aim of this research was to produce and test the effectiveness of development woksheet based discovery learning on thematic learning for the fourth grade students of elementary school. The method of this research used research and development The population in this research is students of class IV SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Gading and SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. The sample used is 55 students with purposive sampling technique. The collection of data through questionnaire, written test and observation. The data were analyzed by using N-Gain formula. The results show that LKS based discovery learning is feasible to use and LKS based discovery learning effective to improve student learning outcomes.        Key words : students worksheet, discovery learning, learning outcomes        ABSTRAK      Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa yang rendah dan belum tersedia LKS yang memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan produk LKS berbasis discovery leaning yang layak dan mengetahui efektivitas LKS berbasis discovery learning pada pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas IV SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Gading dan SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 55 siswa dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis discovery learning layak digunakan dan LKS berbasis discovery learning efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
