Jenis penelitian\r\nyang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan setiap\r\nsiklusnya terdiri dari: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat\r\npengumpul data yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes formatif.\r\nTeknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik nontes dan teknik tes. Teknik\r\nanalisis data berupa analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil\r\npenelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe group\r\ninvestigation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika.\r\nPersentase aktivitas siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I mendapat katagori “Aktif”,\r\nkemudian pada siklus II menjadi “Sangat Aktif”. Persentase hasil belajar afektif\r\nsiswa siklus I katagori “Cukup Baik”, pada siklus II menjadi “Sangat Baik”.\r\nPersentase hasil belajar psikomotor siswa siklus I katagori “Cukup Terampil”, pada\r\nsiklus II menjadi “Sangat Terampil”.
