Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah (scientific approach) melalui model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini serta perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan yaitu melalui pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah . Penelitian ini dilakukan januari 2017. Metode penelitan yang digunakan ialah quasi eksperimen, dengan subjek penelitian 32 anak. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data diambil melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah lembar observasi berupa rubrik penilaian jenis rating scale. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t test dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah dan ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan Ilmiah, model problem based learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, anak usia dini. ABSTRACT The problem of this research was the lack of problem solving skill in a range of 5-6 years age in TK Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung. This study aimed to examine the influence of scientific approach based learning with problem based learning model to problem-solving skills of early childhood and the difference between before and after applying Scientific approach based learning. The reasearch was conducted at Al-Kautsar Kindergarten in Bandar Lampung as from February through January 2017. The reasearch method was conducted with quasy experiment. The reasearch subject were 32 early childhood aged 5-6 year old, which was carried out through simple random sampling technique. Data was collected using observation and documentation. Instrument used in this reasearch was the observation sheet the form of an assesment rubric type rating scale. The data analysis technique using t-test examination and simple linear regression test. The result showed that there was a significant difference between and before applying scientific approach based learning with problem based learning model and scientific approach based learning has a significant influence to problem solving skills of early childhood .
