abstract: ABSTRAK

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian
bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode eksperimen terhadap
hasil belajar IPA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
penelitian eksperimen. dengan desain penelitian Posttest Only Control group
Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan
tes, dengan penjelasan bahwa tes untuk mengatahui hasil belajar IPA pada siswa
dan observasi untuk mengetahui penggunaan metode eksperimen dalam proses
pembelajaran. Data analisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan
uji independent sample t test. Hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat
pengaruh penggunaan metode eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar IPA dan terdapat
perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen pada siswa
kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Kampung baru Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.

ABSTRACT

The problem of this research is the low outcomes learning IPA at students and
teacher not yet implemented the experimental method in  process of learning IPA
in class IV SD Negeri 1 Kampung Baru. This research aims to know the influence
of the use experimental method towards learning outcomes of IPA. The type of
research used in this research is quantitative research with research design
posttest only control design. Instrument that use are test and non- test, with
explanation that test instrument is to know learning outcomes of IPA and non-test
instrument is a observation sheet to know of the use experimental method in
learning process. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression and
independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis concluded that there is
influence of the use experimental method towards learning outcomes of IPA and
there are differences significant between the learning outcomes of experimental
class and control class at students in class IV SD Negeri 1 kampung Baru
academic year 2016/2017.
