abstract: Latar Belakang: Kecemasan adalah perasaan takut yang disertai dengan meningkatnya ketegangan fisiologis. Kecemasan pada mahasiswa semester awal lebih sering terjadi dibandingkan pada mahasiswa semester akhir. Pada mahasiswa kedokteran, hal lain yang dapat menjadi pemicu kecemasan adalah ujian, salah satunya OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). Kecemasan itu sendiri dapat mempengaruhi performa mahasiswa saat ujian OSCE, yang berdampak pada hasil atau nilai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa tingkat pertama terhadap hasil ujian OSCE.
Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling sebanyak 240 mahasiswa semester awal. Data didapatkan melalui pengisian kuesioner HAM-A dan data hasil ujian OSCE. Uji analisis menggunakan uji alternatif Mann-Whitney.
Hasil Penelitian: Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan terhadap hasil ujian OSCE. Kecemasan ringan adalah dominan yang dirasakan saat menghadapi ujian OSCE yakni sebesar 60,4% dan 145 mahasiswa. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney diperoleh nilai p = 0,000.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa tingkat pertama terhadap hasil ujian OSCE di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung.

ABSTRACT

Background: Anxiety is a fear that is accompanied by increased physiological tension. Anxiety on the students of the first semester is more common than in the final semester students, other things that can be anxiety trigger is a test, one of them is OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). Anxiety itself can affect performance of students during OSCE exams, which impact on results or values. This study aims to determine the relathionship of anxiety level of first year students to OSCE exam results.

 Methods:This study design used descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. This study used a total sampling of 240 students of the first semester. Data obtained through questionnaires and data HAM-A OSCE exam results. Test analysis of alternatives using the Mann-Whitney test.

Results: The result showed that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety of the OSCE exam results. Mild anxiety is predominantly felt during an exam OSCE which amounted to 60.4% and 145 students. Mann-Whitney test results obtained value of p = 0.000.

Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of anxiety first year students on the results of the OSCE exam at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung.
